Summer gone and Autumn closing in
This summer has been rough. Wildfires and drought conditions have slowed down many waters, but we continue to catch many wild fish down south and the fishing in the Sierra has been picking up. Fall is time for large brown trout and streamer fishing. Two more months left in the season for the Eastern Sierra means as the Aspens change colors and temperatures drop, large fish will start staging for the fall spawn and the winter spawn fish will be fattening up. It has been a busy summer with more local trips than ever before for us.
California Fly Fishing Open will take place Sept 22 in Kern, California. Make sure to REGISTER for the tournament where there will be bands, beer and BBQ. All proceeds will be donated to Casting for Recovery
