Winter is on the way

Fall was amazing in the Sierra this year as we hooked into large brown trout in the alpine lakes, Crowley Lake, Grant Lake and many creeks, streams in rivers. Brown trout fishing is on FIRE in the local so cal waters, nymphing producing best numbers and a few coming up for dry flies. We have started fishing Pyramid Lake in NV with many 2-5 lb fish hitting streamers and popcorn beetles. Check the report to see the 15lb cutthroat trout caught by Head Guide Terrence Tinucci. Get ready for the winter rainbows to be moving up from Crowley in the next couple weeks. Upper Owens flows are high due to water being released from Grant Lake. Snow Bow action is almost here!
